Panjab University’s visually impaired and physically disabled students will soon be able to get their examination and fee submission forms filled without visiting the varsity counters.
It will launch the special helpline number next week. Once operational, the students can call the helpline and the operator will fill the examination form of their behalf.
There are nearly 200 visually impaired students enrolled in various courses of the university. “The forms of various courses and annual examinations will be filled by officials assigned at the counter for such students. Any student enrolled with the university can avail of the service,” said Parvinder Singh, controller of examination.
