PUCSC elections: SOI announces panel

The Student Organisation of India (SOI) today announced its panel for campaigning for the upcoming Panjab University Campus Student Council (PUCSC) elections on the campus.
A large number of students and outsiders came to attend the announcement of the panel at Student Centre.
Ignoring the violations, senior party leaders of the SOI, while announcing the panel, threw stickers and leaflets into the air on the campus.
The party workers also pasted posters on the heritage building of the Student Centre.
Taking a strict action against the entry of outsiders during the panel announcement, around 150 vehicles were not allowed to enter the campus by the university security staff today.
PU Dean Student Welfare (Women) Nandita Singh said the SOI had sought permission to hold a car rally on the campus, but they were not allowed to hold the rally.
The panellists announced by Parambans Singh Bunty Romana, national coordinator, SOI, and Vicky Middukhera, president, Chandigarh unit, includes Meet Jatana as its president and Manpreet Aulakh as its campus president.
