The RIMT team has won medals in the First Athletics Meet of Maharaja Ranjit Singh State Technical University (MRSSTU) held at Giani Zail Singh College of Engineering and Technology.
Chairman of the RIMT Group Vijayant Bansal congratulated the athletes. Campus director Harsh Sadawarti said our brilliant team and athletes were inspiring the next generation of sporting stars and promoting the RIMT as a leading destination for class sport.
A 6th semester student of electrical department, Amandeep Singh got gold in hammer throw, Prabhjot Singh from Civil Department got silver in high jump. Ajay Kumar (4th semester), Sachin Naulakha (4th Semester), Manish Kumar (6th Semester) and Sandeep from electrical department bagged silver in the 4X400M relay race. Dr RS Pathania, Director, Physical Education, and Harinder Singh, Director, Physical Education, were also present during the felicitation function.
