Saraswati Vidya Mandir School felicitated its students, who have excelled in academics and sports, during the annual prize distribution function here today.
Principal Manoj Rayal informed the gathering that 121 students had passed with distinction while 165 passed with first class grades. Four students obtained the third class rank and two failed in the examinations.
He said academics had suffered up to some extent due to the ongoing construction work of new buildings and the school management had planned a new teaching schedule. He solicited parents’ support under such circumstances.
Gandhi Niwas Society president Madan Mohan Sharma, school society manager Rashim Karnawal and other members of the management distributed prizes and citations among the students.

Tripti Rayal of senior section, Shivam Raturi of junior section, Manish Negi of primary section and Neeraj Negi of pre-primary section received gold medals for their excellent performance in academics.
Others, who received citation and awards, were Kajal Tamta, Nisha Jahan Ansari, Pankaj Kumar, Savan Suadai, Dhanvir Singh Raunchela, Akash Nautiyal, Prachi Panwar, Ayush Dangwal, Neha Nauityal, Abhishek Nauityal, Mahajan Sharma, Mohhmmad Akib, Shivam Raturi, Upendar Bhandari, Kamlesh Negi, Jaspal, Ankit Badoni, Sarika Negi, Shalini Joshi, Ruchita Gusain, Sudipt Bhandari, Manish Negi, Amisha Dhanai, Nishant, Kiran Raunchela, Reno Mehna, Sakshi Rana, Utsav Joshi, Vinit and Rahul.
