Ludhiana: Sri Guru Hargobind Public School, Thakkarwal, organised ‘Save trees and cleanliness’ campaign. The students helped create awareness regarding importance of trees and cleanliness among people through slogans and posters. Major (retd) GS Ahluwalia, president and Manjit Singh Walia, chairman appreciated the efforts of the students.

EXPRESSION EMPOWERMENT

To instil confidence among students, an activity, ‘Expression empowerment’ was organised for Montessori students of Bal Bharti Public School. In all, 160 students participated in the preliminary round, of which 70 got selected for the final round. The participants exhibited their kowledge about various nationally and internationally acclaimed places, monuments and personalities. —TNS
