Arjun Sharma, who got all-India rank 41 in the UPSC civil services exam this year, had been appearing for the exam for the past three years to improve his rank and get better wing. A resident of Sector 51 and alumnus of the IIT-Delhi had made it to the Indian Railways Traffic Service (IRTS) in his very first attempt in 2012.

Subsequently, he qualified for the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) and the Indian Police Service (IPS) in 2013 and 2014, respectively. He is currently training at the Indian Police Academy at Hyderabad. He loves to play cricket and lawn tennis and is an avid supporter of the tennis star, Roger Federer. He also has a keen interest in reading both fiction and non-fiction and enjoys Hindi poetry. — TNS
