The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) held the Class XII compartment exam in the city today. Examination of all the subjects was held at 20 centres in the district. About 200 students took the exam at each of the centres.
Baldev Krishan, Controller of the examination at Government Model Senior Secondary School, PAU, said it was good that the examination ofthe all the subjects was held on the single day. This will speed up the process of declaring results and the academic year of students may not get wasted if they pass the exam, he added.
Students who performed well in the exam were also elated. “I was unwell and could not prepare well for my Chemistry exam. But I am happy that the exam went pretty well and I hope to get above 70 per cent marks in the exam,” a student said.
