The new system of mandatory online registration for availing scholarship money has become a major hurdle for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Backward Class (BC) students this time as the website www.haryanawelfareschemes.org failed to accept online applications.

Parveen Kumar, a SC student, told The Tribune: “The state government has invited online applications from the beneficiaries to get post- matric scholarships. I have been trying to fill my application from the past month, but every time I attempt to log in, the website gets clogged.”
