The Postgraduate Department of Botany in Sanmati Government College of Science Education and Research, Jagraon, organised a lecture on Pteridophytes: An Interesting Group of Plants. The lecture was delivered by Dr SP Khullar, Professor Emeritus, Department of Botany, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Dr Khullar was also the guest speaker on the occasion. Students learnt about different Pteridophytes growing in the Himalayas.
The lecture was attended by Prof Jatinder Singh, Prof Varinder Singh, Prof Harjeet Kaur, Prof Manpreet Kaur and Prof Danish Puri.
