Cultural presentations based on religious, folk and patriotic themes were the highlights of the annual function of the primary wing of Angels Academy Senior Secondary School at Bahadrabad here today. The function was held on the school premises.
School principal Rashmi Chauhan inaugurated the annual function by lighting the traditional lamp followed by Saraswati hymns.
Addressing a gathering, Rashmi Chauhan said in today’s time when techno gadgets were fast occupying much of children’s time, it was imperative to ensure that they took part in co-curricular activities, sports and outdoor activities for their overall development.
School manager Pushpendra Singh Chauhan stressed the need for setting targets as without any objective no one could attain success.
Pushpendra said academic qualification was imperative but inculcating moral values in children were equally important.
A skit on Lord Shiva and Radha Krishna was enacted. Skits based on the patriotic theme and girl child education were appreciated by all.
On the occasion, BP Upadhyay, Poonam Sachdeva, Ravi Chauhan, Hema Bisht, Poonam Sachdeva, Manvi, Sandhya, Pratiba, Meenakshi, Charu Sharma, Shraddha, Anjali, Ambika, Bhuwneshari, Naeema, Kavita, Swati, Nidhi, Lovely, Renu and Sanjay, among others, were present.
