Ludhiana:Three students of MSc (IT), first semester, of Devki Devi Jain Memorial College for Women are among the top 10 position holders of the Panjab University examination. Aanchal Gaba stood fifth in the university by securing 84 per cent marks, Priyanka seventh with 82.67 per cent marks and Prachi ranked eighth by securing 82.5 per cent marks, the college authorities claimed.
Polyfest 2015 at LCET
Over 1,000 students from different polytechnic colleges of Punjab took part in the ‘LCET Polyfest 2015’ organised by the Ludhiana College of Engineering and Technology. The fest saw events like display of technical projects, pot painting, best of waste, dancing dews among others. Dr Pawan Kumar, Principal, LCET, said the activity aimed at providing a common platform to innovative minds to explore their ideas and share experience with each other.
Interactive session
PG Department of Commerce and Management, Kamla Lohtia SD College, Ludhiana, organised an interactive session with Bharat Bhushan from Westpac Bank, Australia, who is an alumnus of the college. The session was held under the guidance of Prof Rajesh Marwaha and Prof Deepak Dhingra. The resource person interacted with more than 80 PG students of MCom and MA (Economics) throwing light on the comparison between Indian and Australian banking. — TNS
