Students told about civil engg software

The Department of Civil Engineering, RIMT University, Mandi Gobindgarh, and Bentley Systems, a software company, today organised a seminar on ‘STAAD Pro and Bentley student server’ on the university premises under the Bentley Academic Programme.
Programme manager (north India) Charu Chaudhary and Senior Software Quality Analyst, Bentley Systems, Anisurya Ghosh were the guests. Vice-Chancellor Harsh Sadawarti said such collaborations and seminars would help the students to access the latest software related to civil engineering.
The seminar executed with a presentation by Charu Chaudhary on various software by Bentley Systems and the utilisation of student server by the students.
She said the RIMT students could access all Bentley software through the student server for free. Anisurya Ghosh gave a presentation on the STAAD pro, an academic offering for all students.
