Jammu, December 15
Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), Sunjuwan, today organised an alumni meet on the school premises on the eve of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) foundation day.
The occasion was marked by lighting of the lamp by Principal Manish Tuli along with SK Gupta, Kusum Sharma and some alumni.
After welcome address by Dr VP Sharma, in charge of the programme, a colourful cultural programme was presented by students of the vidyalaya under the guidance of Anil Raina, PRT (music), Arti Lange, dance trainer, and Subhash Anand.
A yoga show, held under the guidance of yoga teacher Meenakshi, was another attraction of the event. The programme was conducted by Pushpa Choudhary along with Annaya, school Captain (girl), Ashmita and Imitiaz.
Alumni, namely Arushi, Shenaz, Sehaj, Akshay, Shiv Shakti and Nadeem Iqbal, shared their memories and experience. They pledged to work for the betterment of the vidyalaya. A vote of thanks was presented by alumni representative Chitrakshi.
