Students of the kindergarten wing at Green Castle Smart School, Sector 47-C, celebrated Triangle Day. Classrooms of the kindergarten section were decorated with triangular frills. The main aim of the celebrations was to make students aware about various shapes of triangle. School chairman Rajesh Kapoor appreciated efforts of teachers and motivated them to hold such activities in future too.
Eid-ul-Fitr celebrated
Eid-ul-Fitr-the festival marking the end of the month of Ramadan-was celebrated with fervour at Blue Bird High School, Sector 16, Panchkula. A special assembly was organised on the occasion. Students also presented a qawwali to mark the occasion. Teachers too discussed about the importance of the festival.
Cleanliness tips for students
Saupin’s School, Panchkula, organised an activity stressing on the need for cleaning hand properly for healthy living. Tiny tots took part in the activity enthusiastically. They were told about the basic hygiene and how to wash hands peoperly. A small activity was conducted to show the transfer of germs from one hand to another with the help of colours. The students learnt the importance of cleanliness through the activity.
Student brings laurels to school
Harsimrat Kaur, a student of Class II at Gian Jyoti Global School, Mohali, bagged the first position at a Gurmukhi sikhiya camp in Mohali. School principal Ranjeet Bedi congratulated Harsimrat Kaur on her achievement. She said their school always made efforts for the holistic development of students so that they could achieve success in their lives. She further added that every student should participate in such activities for their mental and spiritual growth.
