A placement drive was recently organised for BTech pass outs of information technology, information science, computer science, computer engineering, electronics and electrical streams on the Rayat Bahra University (RBU) campus here.
Disclosing this, RBU Vice-Chancellor Raj Singh said more than 100 students were selected by companies like Wipro Technologies, Capgemini, Artech Infosystem Pvt Ltd and Josh technologies during the placement drive.
Shivani Bhupal, a BTech pass out from Hoshiarpur campus, has bagged Rs 10-lakh package at Amazon.
The selection process included a pre-placement talk, online aptitude test, technical round and HR round. The VC said with a view to enhance employability skills of the students the RBU had launched new-age programmes for
