VISIT TO MCDONALD’S

Ludhiana: Manav Rachna International School organised a trip to McDonalds for classes ‘Bloomz’ and ‘Toddlers’. Students learnt about production and division of labour. They were taught how food combos were made. This was a differential learning for them. They also got to know about how to order the different varieties of food. Students clicked pictures with Ronald McDonald.

GRANDPARENTS’ DAY

Police DAV Public School celebrated Grandparents’ Day. The kindergarten wing presented thanksgiving songs and dance performances. Various games were also organised for grandparents.

STORY TELLING

Hindi story-telling competition was held for the montessori wing of Ryan International School. Participants came dressed as characters of the story and used related props to present it. Students also used voice modulation, face expressions and gestures to present the story.

TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION -PHASEII

The third phase of the month-long Teachers’ Day celebration, ‘Express’ was held at Drishti Public School. A debate on ‘India and Pakistan as one nation’ was held. Other events such as ‘Just a minute’, essay-writing and extempore were also organised. Students judged all the events. The overall winners of the event will be declared on October 5. —TNS
