Ludhiana: A visit to the Swami Vivekanand Meditation Pyramid was organised by the NSS unit of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management. The NSS volunteers and Professor Meenu Goyal, Robin Kaushal and Professor Jai Parkash from the college volunteered to spend their time at the meditation pyramid which is the first of its kind in North India. A session from ‘Zindagi Live Foundation’, an NGO that helps thalassemia patients, was also held. Rajesh and Nitin from the NGO conducted the session. Dr RL Behl said the college would also start meditation facility and prepare a room for holding meditation session.
STUDENTS SHINE
Students of Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd, showed excellent results in the MCom (Semester I) examination. Prabhneet Kaur secured the first position with 541 marks, while Rajveer Kaur stood second with 532 marks, followed by Sukhmandeep Kaur with 524 marks. Principal Paramjit Kaur congratulated the students as well as the teachers for their hard work.—TNS
