Workshop held

Ludhiana: Faculty of Computer Science and Applications, Desh Bhagat University, organised a technical workshop on PHP for students of MCA and BCA with software company Ducat (India), Noida. It was aimed at acquainting students with IT technologies and languages. The team interacted with the students & briefed them about IT Technologies and Languages such as PHP, Java and Web Designing, Photoshop, Coral draw. The company experts informed the students about PHP outlook and its importance in Information Technology. They said PHP is a server scripting language, and is a powerful tool for making dynamic and interactive Web pages quickly. During the workshop, the information session was followed up by various queries put forward by students to which the Ducat company speakers aptly replied which further enhanced the knowledge of students. A small test to assess the knowledge of students was also a part of the workshop. The students were quite happy to attend the workshop and expressed that it was very informative. — TNS
