Chandigarh, April 8

Budding designers showcased their talent during a fashion show, Shears & Ruban, at the University Institute of Fashion Technology (UIFT), Panjab University. Punjab Finance Minister Parminder Singh Dhindsa was the chief guest on the occasion. VC Arun Kumar Grover inaugurated the event.

As many as 14 selected designs were presented by students during the fashion show. Some of the designs were inspired by autumn woods.

Designer Karminder Kaur named her collection ‘The Tale of a Wanderer’, presented designs inspired from nomads and Hippies. — TNS
