12 institutions take part in Sanskrit contest

More than 12 Sanskrit educational institutions took part in a state-level Sanskrit competition organised at the Shri Bhagwan Das Adarsh Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya here today.
The Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan was the organiser of the event.
The first prize winners in all categories would participate in the National Sanskrit Competition to be held in New Delhi from March 16 to 19.
Dr Bhola Jha, principal of the Shri Bhagwan Das Adarsh Sanskrit Mahavidyalya, said that the National Sanskrit Competition was a prestigious annual event for Sanskrit students.
Parasmani (Vedic Gurukul Patanjali Yogpeeth), Ishu (Vedic Gurukul Patanjali Yogpeeth), Saransh (Gurukul Paundha), Gaurav Arya (Gurukul Paundha), Harish Chandra, Ankit Manodi and Krishan Kant (all from Shri Bhagwan Das Adarsh Sanskrit Mahavidyalya) bagged the first positions in various events held during the competition.
Dr Om Prakash Bhatt, Dr Devi Prasad, Dr VK Singh Dev, and Pankaj Upreti coordinated the competition.
