16 bags of herb seized, 1 booked

Chamba, July 11

The police booked a man, Sanjeev Kumar, on the charge of illegally transporting valuable herb in a Bolero Camper near Durgathi on the Chamba-Bharmour highway today.

ASP Virender Singh said a police team, while checking the traffic, seized 16 bags of a forest product ‘muskbala’ from the camper.

A case has been registered against the accused. — OC
