19 fresh cases of dengue reported from tricity

Chandigarh: Nineteen fresh cases of dengue were reported from the tricity and surrounding areas, including 13 from Mohali district, four from Chandigarh and two from Panchkula today.

Nineteen fresh cases of dengue were reported from the tricity and surrounding areas, including 13 from Mohali district, four from Chandigarh and two from Panchkula today.

The total number of dengue cases in the tricity has now climbed to 2,874. Out of this, 1,928 are from Mohali district, 759 from Chandigarh and 187 from Panchkula. 

Meanwhile, three cases of chikungunya were also reported from Chandigarh, taking the overall number to 181 in the city. Mohali and Panchkula did not report any fresh case of chikungunya. — TNS
