1971 war: BSF pays tributes to martyrs

Fazilka, December 18

Border Security Force (BSF) officials paid tributes to martyrs of the 1971 Indo-Pak war at Asafwala village here today. A number of martyrs were collectively cremated at the site of the memorial in 1971. As many as six BSF jawans also attained martyrdom in the war in Fazilka sector.

Murari Parsad Singh, Commandant, 90 Battalion, and Ajay Kumar, Commandant, 129 Battalion, laid wreaths at the bravery pillar. — OC
