200 attend CME at PGI

CHANDIGARH:The two-day workshop and continuing medical education (CME) programme on gynaecological oncology and menopause concluded here at the PGI today.

The two-day workshop and continuing medical education (CME) programme on gynaecological oncology and menopause concluded here at the PGI today. Around 200 delegates from north India attended the workshop and the CME programme. The prevention of cervical cancer by cytology and HPV vaccine was the main focus of the programme. An interesting video session regarding colposcopy and gynae cancer surgery by Dr Amita Suneja and Dr Shailesh Puntambekar was appreciated by all. The role of hormone therapy and management of osteoporosis was also discussed. — TNS
