3 burnt alive in car accident

Three men were burnt alive while three others were seriously injured when the car they were travelling in caught fire after it fell into a deep gorge in Dehradun early Wednesday morning. The police had to cut the badly smashed and burnt car to extricate the bodies and evacuated the injured persons.
According to information, local residents called the police when they saw a car catching fire after it fell into the deep gorge after hitting a tree on the Paowala road at Raipur under Doiwala police station.
A police team immediately arrived there and started the rescue operation but three persons had died by then. The deceased have been identified as Anmol, a resident of Tunwala, Raipur; Rahul, a resident of Krishna Vihar, Raipur; and Nitin Patwal, a resident of Kalinga Colony, Raipur.
The injured are Gajendra Singh and Hemant Negi, both residents of Tunwala, Raipur; and Rubbal Bagadi, a resident of Kalinga Colony, Raipur. The injured have been admitted to hospital, while the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
