3 new luxury buses to ply from Manali

KULLU, OCTOBER 14

The Transport, Food and Civil Supplies and Technical Education Minister, GS Bali, said today that three new super luxury mini AC buses would be started from Manali to Shimla, Chandigarh and Dharamsala by December. He stated that the fare of these buses would be 25 per cent higher than the ordinary fare.

The minister said that one Volvo bus would be from Manali to Delhi and two new such buses would be launched on the Manali-Chandigarh route.

The Transport Minister said Rs 6 crore would be spent on the construction of new building and hostel for Polytechnic College at Kais.

Kullu Deputy Commissioner Yunus Khan, Kullu Superintendent of Police Padam Chand and other officials were also present on the occasion.
