3 of cheaters’ gang held

Dehradun, July 25

The city police on Monday claimed to have arrested three members of inter-state cheaters’ gang. The police seized Rs 1.59 lakh, 42 ATM cards and one car from them. SSP Sadanand Datte said several police teams led by SPs, and COs were made to arrest the cheaters. He said several fraud cases had been registered in different police stations as cheaters used to withdraw cash by swapping ATM cards of residents with a fake one. —TNS
