Superintendent of Police Abhishek Garg has constituted three companies on the pattern of paramilitary forces to control riot-like situations. The companies today practised to control protesters and maintain law and order situation in the city.
Inspecting the practice in Sector 12, the SP said these companies would have anti-riots equipment. Protesters would not be allowed to go towards the CM camp office. They would have to submit memorandums at Gandhi Chowk, he maintained.
Sources said these three companies, named Alpha, Bravo and Charlie, will have women police personnel too.
