The celebrations of the 350th foundation day of Anandpur Sahib will start on June 17 with a seminar on Bebe Nanaki and the installation of a 70-foot high khanda.
Anandpur Sahib was founded by Guru Tegh Bahadur in 1665. It was first named Chakk Nanaki after the Guru’s mother Bebe Nanaki.

Education Minister Daljeet Singh Cheema, who convened a high-level meeting on the preparation of the event, said the woman wing of the Shiromani Akali Dal would organise the seminar on Bebe Nanaki on SGPC ground near Takht Kesgarh Sahib on June 17.
