Local tennis player Abhinav reached the quarterfinals after defeating Pranav during the ongoing AITA Tennis Championship at Brilliance World School, Sector 12, today.
In the the boys category (U-14), Abhinav after winning the opening game 6-2 went down in the next set 5-7. However, in the final set, Abhinav regained his form and win the next set 6-1 to seal the place in quarterfinals.
In other matches of the same category, Sarabjot defeated Siddharth 6-2 and 7-5 while Samarth overpowered Dhananjay 6-2 and 6-4.
In the boys U-16 category, Sagar win 6-1 and 6-1 against Shrut.
