Dehradun, January 14
With a slogan of ‘Nasha mukt,paryavaran yukt, swachh Uttarakhand,’ members of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) took out an awareness rally here today in the city. Students were chanting de-addiction, save environment and clean Uttarakhand slogans during the rally, which was flagged off by Sunil Ambekar, national group secretary, ABVP. The rally was organised as a part of all India programme on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
Earlier, ABVP workers and students gathered at Subhash Road where a street play on de-addiction was staged by artistes. Later,the students took out a rally from Subhash Road towards Darshan Lal Chowk, spreading awareness among people. — TNS
