Ludhiana, April 20
April 20 is a red-letter day for the bank employees because this was the day when the All India Bank Employees’ Association (AIBEA) came into existence in 1946.
To mark the occasion, the Punjab Bank Employees Federation (Ludhiana Unit) held a blood-donation camp at the Punjab Trade Centre, Industrial Area 1-B, here today. In all, 82 bank employees donated blood.
SKGautam, Joint Secretary, AIBEA, inaugurated the camp. Naresh Gaur, Deputy Secretary, and other prominent leaders of the Punjab Bank Employees’ Federation were present.
Congratulating the bank employees on the 72nd Foundation Day of AIBEA, Gautam said, “It is the unity of the bank employees, their sacrifices, love, loyalty, convictions, commitment and faith that has enabled our flag to fly higher and higher.”
