Aircel’s 3G plans
Aircel is extending its network to provide 100 per cent 3G coverage in Ludhiana city, Khanna, Jagraon and Doraha. Aircel’s full 3G coverage in Ludhiana city and the three towns is set to significantly benefit a large number of customers in the region and redefine their data usage experience with an average 3G speed of 2Mbps. Deepinder Tiwana, Circle Business Head, Punjab, Aircel, said: “The population of 3G users that looks for an uninterrupted experience is dramatically increasing, especially as mobile handsets are increasingly being used for varied purposes. Recently, Aircel added 70 new 3G sites to its network across Ludhiana and additionally will now be installing 34 new sites in the region for the enhancement of the network.
