Ajeet Sahu is new Vaishno Devi Shrine Board CEO

Ajeet Kumar Sahu today took over the charge of the Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board at Katra from MK Bhandari, the outgoing CEO, who has been posted as Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department.
Later, the officers and the Shrine Board staff organised a function to bid farewell to the outgoing CEO and welcome Sahu.
Bhandari thanked all the officers and staff of the Shrine Board for their support and cooperation.
He advised them to further intensify their efforts to bring about continuing improvements in the facilities for the pilgrims visiting the cave shrine of Vaishno Devi.
Bhandari observed that working in the Shrine Board for the past around six years had been a very rich experience. He said there was an excellent working environment in the Board and everyone works hard with a missionary zeal towards facilitating the pilgrims and brining about continuing improvements in the management of the pilgrimage.
The outgoing CEO referred to the various infrastructure development projects conceptualised and completed during the past few years, adding that Sahu was a dynamic officer who would complete the ongoing works within envisaged timelines.
Sahu, meanwhile, said the Board needs to work hard to ensure that the pilgrims were largely facilitated.
The new CEO emphasised the need for completion of all infrastructure development works as per envisaged timelines to meet emerging requirements of the pilgrimage. He said it would be his endeavour to ensure that all the ongoing works were completed expeditiously.
Sahu presented a memento to Bhandari and extended best wishes to him.
