Riding high on two wins in the last three outings, Amandeep Drall will start as favourite in the Hero Women’s Professional Golf Tour-2015.

The tournament will be played at Jaypee Greens in Greater Noida from September 2 to 4. A cash reward of Rs 6,00,000 will be given to the winner. As many as 17 professionals and three amateurs will take part in the tournament.

Panchkula’s Amandeep Drall is currently placed at the second spot in the Hero Order of Merit with a total earning of Rs 10,59,935, including two wins and three runners-up finishes in 14 appearances. She is expected to receive a strong challenge from Delhi’s Vani Kapoor, who is currently leading the Order of Merit with a total earning of Rs 14,35,200 from 14 appearances.

Vani has won four titles and secured the runners-up position six times. Kolkata Neha’s Tripathi is also a contender to watch for. She is yet to win a tournament this year while Kolkata’s Smriti Mehra, currently placed at the fourth spot with a total earning of Rs 7,26,900 ,has registered two wins from 10 appearances. Kapurthala’s Gursimar Badwal, Chandigarh’s Saaniya Sharma and Delhi’s Gauri Monga, Ankita Tiwana and Mehar Atwal will also via for the top prize while Diksha Dagar, Anisha Padukone and Tvesha Malik are the amateurs in the fray.
