The annual Lord Bhairavnath ‘bhandara (community lunch)’ will be held at the Lord Bhairavnath temple at Upper Bazar, Chowk Chabutra, here on December 4.

“A prabat pheri (morning procession) will be taken out from the premises of the temple. The procession after passing through various parts of the old city will culminate at the originating point,” Rumil Sharma, head of the Prachin Shri Bhairav Mandir Committee told reporters here.

“The entire area from Chowk Chabutra to Dhounthly Bazaar is being decorated and illuminated,” he said.

“We request all the people, including businessmen and traders of all Jammu markets, to attend the ‘bhandara’ and seek the blessings of Bhairavnath,” Sharma said. — TNS
