Mohali police destroy large quantity of drugs

Mohali, March 28
The Mohali police destroyed a large quantity of drugs at Bariali village today.
Mohali SSP Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said the drugs included 11.2 quintals of poppy husk, 14.430 grams of smack, 9.70 kg of charas, 3.24 kg of heroin, 2.71 kg of cocaine, 39.38 kg of ganja and a large quantity of tablets, injections, capsules and other prohibited medicines.
SSP Bhullar said the drugs were destroyed in presence of GS Grewal, SP (detective), Mohali, Harmeet Singh Hundal, SP (D), Roopnagar, both members of the committee constituted for the purpose.
