Aruna Asaf Ali remembered

The Aruna Asaf Ali Memorial Trust today organised an annual function to celebrate her birth anniversary.
Former Member of Parliament Preneet Kaur was the chief guest on the occasion.
Madhu Bansal, wife of former MP Pawan Kumar Bansal, was honoured by the trust for her support. The trust presented a token of appreciation to Chaman Lal Sharma, the tax lawyer, for his support and help. The trust also presented a token of appreciation to Dr MS Sohi, Vijay Malik and Vivek High School.
Students presented a cultural programme based on various social problems. The trust is running 15 centers which include vocational courses. Madhu Bansal offered to sponsor the annual magazine
of the trust on the occasion. Certificates were given to students of vocational courses.
