Ashita enters Kaala Teeka

Zee TV’s primetime offering Kaala Teeka, a poignant social drama that attempts to raise a voice against age-old superstitions, recently took a time leap of 14 years. New characters and actors were introduced in the wake of this leap. Another interesting character joins the cast with the introduction of Chulbuli Chachi, a behenji who has gone ‘mod’, Versatile actor Ashita Dhawan, known to have an uncanny knack of improvising and adding her own unique style to a character’s mannerisms, look and style, has been roped-in to bring in the comical element required for the role. Ashita is quite excited to portray the challenging character in the show. Says Ashita, “My character Chulbuli, who is Yug’s (Played by Rohan Gandotra) Chachi, will be a little over- the-top, yet interesting.”
