Ex-councillor Rajesh Gupta passes away

Chandigarh: The city BJP’s cashier and former councillor, Rajesh Gupta (52), today suffered a heart attack and later died at a private hospital in Mohali.

The cremation took place in the evening at the Sector 25 cremation ground. At around 12 noon, he complained of chest pain and his family took him to Fortis Hospital in Mohali, where he died. Gupta was the front-runner for the post of the president of the the Chandigarh BJP. — TNS
