Ayurveda is gaining prominence among Europeans with most shunning allopathic therapies and opting for ayurveda and yoga.

Noted ayurvedacharya Dr DK Shrivastava, who returned from a month-long tour of European countries, stated this here today.

“Ayurveda not only cures the ailment but treats the body completely without any side-effects. It’s a matter of great pride that India is leading the world from the health perspective,” Shrivastava said.

Dr Shrivastava cited the World Health Organisation report where ayurveda had been accredited as a scientific-proved therapy.He said ayurveda makes an impact both physically and mentally.

Dr Shrivastava has been managing Navjeevan Kayakalp Ayurveda Institute in Rishikesh for the past few years.

He has been a regular visitor to European countries, including Switzerland, Netherland, Austria, Spain, France, Britain, and Belgium among others in connection with ayurveda workshop, teaching, training and promotion.
