Badminton tourney begins today

Dehradun, February 17

The state-level senior masters badminton tournament organised by the District Badminton Association will begin at the Multi-purpose Sports Complex today.

Secretary of the association, Navneet Sethi, said around 200 players of Tehri, Pauri, Nainital, Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts will participate in the tournament. During the tournament, matches will be played under men/women singles, doubles and mixed doubles categories. The final of the tournament will be played on February 20, he added.
