Badnore lauds PPS Nabha’s role in shaping careers

Governor VP Singh Badnore presided over the 57th founders’ day celebrations of Punjab Public School, Nabha. He lauded the school for its role in imparting education to children and preparing top-rank officers and diplomats for the country. He underscored the importance of sports and extra-curricular activities in the personality development of children.
Meanwhile, students put up an exhibition of art, craft, science, music, literature and adventure activities to showcase their school life.
During the function held at the school ground, students put up a stellar display of their riding skills, PT, band, taekwondo and gymnastics. The Governor gave away various prizes and trophies. Senior Jumna House was adjudged the best senior house in the school and won the coveted Cock House Trophy sponsored by Dr Rajendra Prasad, India’s first President. Lovepreet Singh, school’s outstanding athlete too was honoured by the Governor.
The school also honoured Dr Satish Jain with the prestigious Roll of Honour award for brining laurels to his alma mater through distinguished service in the medical profession and Mr KC Tandon, former music and history teacher, with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his dedicated service to the school. The three-day event started on October 26.
