Ludhiana, April 26
Karatekas from Bal Bharti Public School stamped their superiority to emerge as overall champions in the sixth edition of the Ludhiana District Karate Championship held at the multi-purpose indoor hall of Guru Nanak Stadium.
Participants representing Guru Gobind Singh Public School secured the second position while those from Jitendra Greenfield School finished at third place.
Around 600 participants drawn from 15 schools across the district competed in different categories during the one-day tournament. The following position holders qualified for the upcoming Punjab State Karate Championship scheduled to be held on May 10 at Jalandhar.
