Reiterating that equitable development of all the regions is being given focused attention, the Minister for Forest and Social Welfare, Bali Bhagat, said that area-specific development projects had been devised to meet the needs of the people.
The minister was speaking at a meeting with local representatives of the party at Barnai today. He dedicated 100-KVA transformer installed under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) to the people of Mohalla Verma, Barnai. He said with the installation of the new transformer a population of 2,000 residents of the Raipur Domana constituency and adjoining areas would get adequate power supply.
Various deputations and individuals from Burn, Batera, Lower Barnai and Lohar Mohalla also met the minister and apprised him of their problems and demands. The demands projected by the people included replacement of old water pipes, repair of lanes and drains, upgrade of roads with blacktopping and uninterrupted power and water supply.
