Basketball tourney begins at Woodstock School

The 16th Win Mumby All India Basketball Tournament began at the Woodstock School gymnasium in Mussoorie with much fanfare today. Around 16 teams from the country would be contesting in the tournament for the coveted trophy.
The tournament began with the Woodstock School students’ Jaazz band performing popular western numbers that were appreciated by the audience. The students enthralled the audience with their dance on Bollywood and Hollwood numbers.
Sports Instructor of Woodstock School Ajay Mark told mediapersons that the tournament would conclude on November 6 and teams from Koadaikanal, Chandigarh, Gurgaon and Uttarakhand were participating this year. He added eminent actor and writer Tom Alter would be the chief guest on the occasion.
