Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers burnt an effigy of Pakistan at Kishan Nagar Chowk here today in protest against terrorist attacks in Jammu Kashmir by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists. The workers blamed Pakistan for supporting terrorist groups and unleashing them for attacks on the Indian territory. They said if the terror attacks continue in this manner, Pakistan would face severe consequences.
Earlier, BJP workers held a protest march and raised slogans against the Pakistan government. Party worker Sumit Pandey said, “Pakistan has to stop such terror attacks so that both the countries have an atmosphere for peace talks.” The Pakistan Prime Minister is playing double game by first operating terror attacks and later calling for peace talks, he added.
Amit Kumar, Nandani Sharma, Anil Dabral, Kanchan Thakur and Kuldeep Kapoor were among those who took part in the protest.
