BSP grabs 7 seats in Y’nagar

Yamunanagar, January 28

The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has won seven out of 18 seats in the Zila Parishad (ZP) elections in the district.

However, the BJP and the Congress supported candidates won the elections on three and two seats, respectively. The Indian National Lok Dal supported three candidates also won the elections.

However, a candidate supported by the Haryana Janhit Congress has also registered a win. The BSP fielded candidates on 15 seats. Former Assembly Deputy Speaker Akram Khan’s younger brother Shamim Khan won the election from ward 6. —OC
