Cabinet orders reshuffle of bureaucrats

SRINAGAR: The state Cabinet, which met here on Friday, approved the transfers and postings of senior bureaucrats and officials.

The state Cabinet, which met here on Friday, approved the transfers and postings of senior bureaucrats and officials. The meeting was presided over by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.

As per the orders, Pramod Kumar Jain, Chairman, Bureau of Public Enterprises, Finance Department, has been posted as the Financial Commissioner, Agriculture Production Department, vice Sundeep Kumar Nayak who will report in the General Administration Department till further orders, an official statement said here.

Gazzanfar Hussain, Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department, has been posted as the Commissioner Secretary, Labour and Employment Department. Sarita Chauhan, Commissioner Secretary, Social Welfare Department, has been posted as the Chairperson, J&K Service Selection Board, it said.

Nirmal Sharma, Secretary, Labour and Employment Department, has been posted as the Commissioner of Enquiries. Khurshid Ahmad Shah, Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, has been posted as the Secretary, General Administration Department.

Sajjad Ahmad Khan, Commissioner of Enquiries, has been posted as the Secretary, Social Welfare Department. Kifayat Rizvi, Managing Director, J&K State Power Development Corporation, has been posted as the Secretary, Rural Development Department.

Shah Faesal, Director, School Education, Kashmir, has posted as the Managing Director, J&K State Power Development Corporation, while Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Commissioner Secretary, Revenue Department, shall hold the additional charge of the Administrative Secretary, Science and Technology Department, till further orders.

Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, Additional District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, has been posted as the Director, School Education, Kashmir, the orders stated.

Peerzada Hafizullah Shah, Additional Director, Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, has been posted as the Director, Horticulture, Planning and Marketing Department. Rafiq Ahmad Hakim, Director, Horticulture, Planning and Marketing Department, has been posted as the Director, Horticulture, Kashmir.

Babila Rakwal, Administrator, Associated Hospitals, Jammu, has been posted as the Director, School Education, Jammu.

Jatinder Singh, Secretary, State Vigilance Commission, has been posted as the Director, Forensic Science Laboratories.

Choudhary Rashid Azam Inqalabi, Special Secretary, ARI and Trainings Department, has been posted as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP), while Arun Kumar Sharma, CEO, IWMP, has been posted as the Joint Financial Commissioner, Revenue.
