Celebrations end at SGRR PG College

The final day of the Students’ Union Week at SGRR PG College was dominated by various cultural programmes presented by the students. The students presented heart-warming dance, Sufi and folk song performances.

Shubham Joshi presented fusion dance. Naresh danced to the Himachali song “De bolopinki mere dil bina” which drew applause from the audience. Preeti Kothiyal danced to the song “Chintia kaliyan” while Prince showed impressive hip-hop dance steps. The group dance of Anushka and Akanksha was enjoyed by the audience. The mimicry performance of Mohit Vishal made the students laugh endlessly. Rashmi Kandari sang the song “Garhwal ki matiki sondhi khusbhu”. Shivani Pal gave outstanding performance on the song “Kali kamli”. The Dinesh Band sang Bollywood songs. Hari Shankar Gaur and Deepak Naithani were the stage anchors.

Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister and Haridwar MP Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ inaugurated today’s programme by lighting the traditional lamp. He announced a grant of Rs 10 lakh from his MPLAD funds for construction of a multi-functional building in the college.
